'I'm the laughing stock of my family': QAnon believers implode as they watch Biden getting sworn in

Brad Reed
January 20, 2021

President Joe Biden was sworn into office on Wednesday, and some believers in the QAnon conspiracy theory have apparently realized that they have wasted years of their lives believing in a complete fabrication.

As flagged by Jared Holt of Right Wing Watch, a QAnon group chat that occurred during Biden's inauguration found many one-time faithful followers disillusioned with the false claims they had been sold over the last four years.

"Well I'm the official laughing stock of my family now," wrote one. "Awesome."

"OMG none of this was real," wrote another.

No shit, Sherlocks. You ARE the laughingstock of not just your family. And none of it was real. Welcome to reality.

Whole thing fell apart when they didn’t have time to do that emergency face-switching surgery as a result.

Ok I made up the first part but they really did float the face thing.

I hope they remain disillusioned. Yes, they're morons to have fallen for the BS, but if they vote, we need them connected to reality.

that the new Q revelation didn't happen! Biden and trump were supposed to switch faces! And what looked to be trump being arrested, would have really been Biden being arrested! I can't understand how this didn't occur! I don't think I can trust Q anymore.

right in front of their noses), they still believe the Earth is flat, that the moon landings were faked in some studio somewhere, that George Soros is everywhere it seems like, eating children for snacks (who by the way, donated an astonishing 32 billion dollars of his fortune thus far (to the Open Society Foundation)).

Doesn't surprise me at all, this is the National Enquirer crowd, for the most part it seems, who literally has not picked up a decent book at the library in quite some time to read/enjoy (but they still picked up that latest copy of the NE last week).

Hey, don't complain, if you feel like you are the laughingstock of your family and friends (what few you have left), you worked hard to get to this point. You disrespected the rule of law and tried to overthrow the US Government and hang our representatives. As far as I'm concerned, no mercy, no rest for any of you.

Only complete idiots would buy this crap. These idiots deserve to be laughed at

Followers of the extremist ideology QAnon saw their hopes once again dashed Wednesday as President Trump left Washington on the final day of his presidency, without any of the climactic scenes of violence and salvation that the sprawling set of conspiracy theories had preached for years would come.

As Trump boarded Air Force One for his last presidential flight to Florida, many QAnon adherents — some of whom had earlier this month stormed the Capitol in a siege that left at least two QAnon devotees dead and others in jail — began to wonder whether they’d been duped all along.

When one QAnon channel on the chat app Telegram posted a new theory that suggested Biden himself was “part of the plan,” a number of followers shifted into open rebellion: “This will never happen”; “Just stfu already!” “It’s over. It is sadly, sadly over.” “What a fraud!”.....

“It simply doesn’t make sense that we all got played,” one QAnon channel on Telegram said.

All those conspiracy theories they've latched onto? They're fake! Benghazi? Fake! Hillary's emails? Fake! Pizzagate? Fake! Q Anon? Fake! Guess what? You guys are trusting "the plan"? It was made up too! There never was, nor ever will be a plan! Why? They made the whole thing up from anonymous sources, which really aren't that anonymous.

That's what you get when you dismiss real news and live in conspiracy theory fantasy world. And they fall for it every damn time! When you get suckered into a make believe cult and it turns out to be bullshit, don't say we didn't warn you.
