(16,355 posts)it is REALLY difficult to play in these conditions, especially brass. Good for them...and how inspiring it all was...

(998 posts)OTOH clarinet reeds can freeze up and keeping those fingers warm enough to play all of the runs march music features is a challenge. But I would don a band uniform again in a nano second. Since that will not be happening I will enjoy good marching whenever it can.
Not the typical inauguration day, but one so full of hope. There is peace in my heart again.
