(884 posts)Joy, hope, and relief, of course, but offset by the grief that we've all had suppressed for the last four years by the neverending string of daily outrages. Suspect it's going to be quite an emotional rollercoaster for the next little while.

(2,584 posts)My eyes have leaked multiple times. I have never bothered to watch an inaugural ceremony before. Listening to the words of the Capitol Tour guides has me rethinking about that. Now I know why my parents were excited to tour Washington D.C. I feel huge relief today, and some hope, for the first time in the last four years.
