(16,352 posts)To my neighborhood was at half mast, too. I asked a couple of older guys n they didnt know why. Tomorrow, Im going to the office n ask. Im not gonna jump to conclusions b/c there were signs up about political window signs were not allowed. Messing with the flag is another issue.

The median income for a household in the town was $28,409, and the median income for a family was $36,176. Males had a median income of $31,146 versus $19,323 for females. The per capita income for the town was $15,711. About 17.4% of families and 16.2% of the population were below the poverty line, including 18.6% of those under age 18 and 13.6% of those age 65 or over.

(14,861 posts)and thinks it should always be respected and treated properly. I'll guess he was among those who squawked loudly when he saw people kneel during the national anthem. But he doesn't think twice about abusing the town flag to make a personal political statement.
I despise hypocrites.

(13,225 posts)He also lowered it for several days when PA was called for Biden, and then again when the states certified their results last month, and again on January 6.
Yesterday, it was so low it was dragging on the ground. He raised it slightly today so that it is no longer touching the ground.
