Trump, who has never been one to shy from attention, appears to be want some privacy as he starts his new life with a full-time move back to his Mar-a-Lago estate.
The tree-planting comes just one day after a CNN cameraman shot footage of the former president, who now faces an impeachment trial, enjoying a spot of golf on the Florida course while still sporting a red 'MAGA hat'.

The warning sign said it was issued by Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and labeled the area as belonging to the Trump International Golf Club.

(32,017 posts)This says a lot about the former President. The most majestic palm that will grow in Southern Florida, according to some, Phoenix canariensis, is darned expensive$10,000 for a healthy adolescent. There are plenty of cheaper palms, naturally. I wonder what Trump has chosen.

(32,017 posts)He should plant the native Sabal palmetto. Southern Florida is zone 9-10. The serious, tropical palms wont grow therenot outdoors, anyway.
I wouldnt be surprised if he planted an invasive species like Syagrus romanzoffiana.

They can grow tropicals in Palm Beach
