Local Girl Makes Good

She was born in Hammonton, New Jersey, and moved to a small village in the outskirts of Philadelphia when she was a child. She went to Upper Moreland High, one of three townships that call a piece of Willow Grove home. The other two are Abington, and Upper Dublin, my Alma Mater. If you were to mention The Lanes, Willow Grove Park, Manini's Pizza, or the Sears in Abington where Tiny Tim met Miss Vicky, I can promise you a fond, knowing smile would light up her face. We never met, and we may not have ever even rubbed elbows, but she's from the Grove, and I could not be prouder of that fact, or what she has done with her life.

Her name is Dr. Jill Biden, the First Lady of the United States of America. My hometown pride is beaming, and it'll be lighting up the sky for the next four years. Much Love, Dr, Biden.

At age 16, she won the New Jersey Blueberry Princess pageant. 8. Jill Biden has led a life of meaning, of accomplishment. We can never underestimate the

power for good that a teacher wields. The power to turn lives around. The power to make the difference for her students, and build in them the desire for their own lifetimes of success and accomplishment.

She will be a darned good First Lady - She was great last time as the Second Lady. All you have to do is see her and you know she stands for what is good.

I think we can all be proud of Jill Biden, no matter where in the United States we might call home

I didn’t know Conway was from Atco, I thought she was from Hammonton. Anyway, Conway’s grandfather was a local mob associate named Jimmy The Brute. What an opposite of Jill Biden. Before Jill Biden, Hammonton which is a farming community, mostly blueberries, claim to fame was Ronald Reagan stopped there and gave a speech.

The vast majority of whom have no similar connection to the estimable Dr. Biden, but I'd be willing to bet a LOT of money that the majority feel exactly the same.

3 of the last 4 First Ladies have been great, and, objectively, Laura Bush wasn't that bad. I have no illusions about being able to rank the top 3.
