Bernie's Mittens for Outright Vermont
The kids are not always alright.

Just ask the youth at the hospital ER where the doctor refused to provide care because they were trans, doubling down on the harm and hurt that prompted the visit in the first place. Or the parent who was told that LGBTQ+ inclusive sexual health education wasn’t needed at their teen’s school, because “we don’t have that problem here.”

30% of LGBTQ+ are being bullied. 50% purposefully hurt themselves. We refuse to stand by knowing that 1 in 5 LGBTQ+ youth in Vermont attempted suicide in 2019.

Current Bid:$800.00
Value: Priceless

Nara is 5 years old (approx. DOB 11-8-15), female, 38 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Nara was found as a homeless stray in NC. The shelter staff said she is very friendly, walks well on a leash, and is good with other dogs! She does not care for the crate nor being restrained at the Vet (understandable).
