Alex Jones tried to dissuade the mob from entering the Capital

It could be argued that he only did it to focus the attention to himself, but had they complied, a lot of lives would be better today and it's likely 5 people would still be breathing.

In this video Jones can clearly be heard imploring the mob to march around to the other side of the building where a stage was set up and a peaceful protest can take place. He warns them "to not have a confrontation with the police and make that the story". "Don't give them what they want". "Go to the other side where we can occupy peacefully". This was at 1:53 PM.

For once, Alex Jones was right because it was what happened after they overran the police that drove the news of the event and therefor public sentiment. That these idiots listen to Jones when he lies on the radio, but not when he makes sense, says a lot about Barstool Republicans:

this occurred just after the police line was first breached:

Yesterday I posted this link to over 500 videos in chronological order from the riot, starting with Trump firing up the mob at noon and continuing though 6:00. I don't know who saw that post, but this is the stuff of which documentaries are made. Watch as things go from regular insane to out of control crazy:

But I give Jones enough credit for being able to figure some things out for himself.

In the clips he can be seen marching (limping) along with the protestors to the Capital. It was just after the police line was first violated that he got up with a bullhorn telling people not to "give the media what it wants". His motive may have been to attract attention by speaking on the stage on the other side of the Capital, but he could have done that anyway.

For once, Alex Jones was offering good advice that didn't involve buying gold or magic potions. No one listened.

He spent the last 4 years egging on Trump to carry out his horrible policies. He even had Trump on his show at the height of his popularity. How many of his subscribers were the ones who were trashing the capital?

that this was a spectacular failure for their "cause."

Thanks for posting that second link, too, JohnnyRingo. I am interested in mob behavior so I am going to want to watch those videos.

...and started streaming in, I would have yelled that "it's a free concert now!!", because that's where my sense of humor lies. No one would get it unless they saw the Woodstock movie though.

That would be funnier than going to Woodstock and shouting "stop the Steely Dan!".

And when that dog attacks his neighbor, he yells, “bad dog, get off that lady!”

But oddly the dog ignores him.

And now we are to forgive him because he tried to stop the dog?

I didn't think this was redeeming, and I'm sure a lot of people heeded his advice, but it shows just how stupid the mob mentality at tip of the spear was.

Jones will be back Monday as usual, claiming the election was stolen. He was just smart enough then to know nothing good would happen for his cause after the police line was breached. He was right.

9. Nope. He is part and parcel of the qanon bullshit

He shares the guilt just as much as the seditious assholes that funded it, encouraged it and led it in to the capital.

Jones has peddled his bullshit conspiracy theories for years. Many of the qanon got their start listening to jones and his prison planet horseshit.

And right up until things went fucked up, Jones was right there egging the morons on.

Only when he began to see that last of his fortunes vanish before his eyes did he have a sudden realization.

Nope fuck him, he is and has always been an opportunistic piece of shit seditious fuck.

He deserves to be bankrupt and ostracized. The fact that he even exists says volumes about our society.
