https://www.justice.gov/pardon However, there is no specified procedure in the Constitution that requires these processes to be used. However, if Trump pulled an ostensible pardon of himself out of his ass upon being indicted in a federal court, he'd have to be able to prove he granted it to himself while he was still president.
