"SNIP.....

New York Times: “The 10 House Republicans who voted for impeachment are already facing a fleet of primary challengers, censures and other rebukes from their hometown Republican Party organizations, an indication that the battle over Mr. Trump will play a defining role in shaping the direction of the party during the next two years.”

if they can stop him and his authoritarianism they are accomplishing something in General Elections. They may be equal in size or smaller in size than the Trump Republican Party. Trump will hang and join with anyone. People like Mitt Romney will not.

R's need to grow spines and hard primary the MAGA wing. See if they can handle a taste of their own medicine for supporting the violent overthrow of the government . See how far the Lincoln project is willing to take what they started.

3. Good. This party is destroying itself as it should. It deserves nothing less. It deserves to be..

thrown into the dust bin of history and wiped out as a valid political party forevermore. Mainly for several reasons...they aided and abetted a traitor, they ignored laws put in place such as the Emoluments Clause because they pick and chose what laws they want to follow. If anything, they should rename themselves the 1%ers, after all, that really is who they are representing, heaven forbid any of us 'normal' people being represented.

4. But they cloak themselves in being the party of the little guy. More likely

they will call themselves the little guy party. That is how populism works. They make people feel like kings in their own lives even if the wife has left them and they don't have a good job because they must be kept angry at the elites.... in the case of Trumpism, the educated elites.

Yes, he got 74 million votes...he didn’t come even close to Biden..he lost! 74 million is never going to magically be a bigger number than 81 million

Why back a loser??

He loses at every business venture

The congress critters he campaigned for lost a lot more than they won
