trump* saying to the mob "and I'll be there with you." SHOULD be the phrase that sinks him

Of course, it seems nobody in that mob seemed to notice his absence, but still. I have no doubt that there were a whole lot of them thinking he was actually in the lead of their assault on the Capitol.

He n his family were dancing to “Gloria” while our Capital was under seize. Cowards don’t get in the front lines..the shout from behind like he did. Like Guillani did. Like Alex Jones did. They incite n then disappear.

Most people learn to face their fears but, a true coward like trump never even admits he’s afraid.Being born wealthy and privileged, he never had any necessity to face any of his fears. He’s always had people he could blame things on. And people to do his dirty work. His followers are such chumps

And so were Cruz and Hawley. And Gaetz and Rubio. And Jordan and Gohmert. And at least a dozen others.

If the DOJ and the FBI can ever regain the confidence of the US public, they must make arrests of members of Congress. This was an attempted coup supported by GOPers on Congress. They must be prosecuted just like the rioters who killed the cop.

he had assembled and realized their directed fury would be his last chance to extort Congress into preserving his crown. So he sent them in to subvert democracy in possibly the single most selfish act in the history of the Presidency.

Pennsylvania Avenue to the Capitol do you? It was just another lie.

He gets other people to do his dirty work so he thinks he has deniability.

All his defenders say he never told them to go in there and riot. That’s deniability. Any average citizen inciting violence like that would be in jail already, despite the coded message in his speech

The fact that, after the insurrection began, he didn't seem surprised, upset or concerned and did nothing to stop it. That, combined with his acts prior, is pretty strong evidence that this is exactly what he intended to happen. If it wasn't - or even if he had the sense to pretend it wasn't - he could have expressed shock or at least said, "OMG. This is NOT what I wanted to happen!!! We need to make this stop now!"
