Of course, it seems nobody in that mob seemed to notice his absence, but still. I have no doubt that there were a whole lot of them thinking he was actually in the lead of their assault on the Capitol.

(31,028 posts)Most people learn to face their fears but, a true coward like trump never even admits hes afraid.Being born wealthy and privileged, he never had any necessity to face any of his fears. Hes always had people he could blame things on. And people to do his dirty work. His followers are such chumps

If the DOJ and the FBI can ever regain the confidence of the US public, they must make arrests of members of Congress. This was an attempted coup supported by GOPers on Congress. They must be prosecuted just like the rioters who killed the cop.

(18,486 posts)The fact that, after the insurrection began, he didn't seem surprised, upset or concerned and did nothing to stop it. That, combined with his acts prior, is pretty strong evidence that this is exactly what he intended to happen. If it wasn't - or even if he had the sense to pretend it wasn't - he could have expressed shock or at least said, "OMG. This is NOT what I wanted to happen!!! We need to make this stop now!"
