(2,151 posts)Who wouldn't get even with a miserable excuse for a human being who did awful things to you, by positively identifying them when they actually were part of that mob?

I dropped Trump's face - didn't find him (even though I could hear his voice in the background).
I dropped two different images of myself - the only difference being that one was taken pre-haircut and one was taken post-haircut. It didn't match me to the same inages.
Nice amusing toy - but as someone said below - an angry ex is much better.

(34,076 posts)As to Trump - his image pulled up images from when he was speaking - so it is completely irrelevant whehter he followed his cult to the capitol since the images eligible for facial recognition obviously included the time he was speaking.
I uploaded two images of myself that differed only as to haircut.
If the technology works, it should pull up the same matches for each of the nearly identical photos I uploaded. It pulled up two completely different sets of images. I have since uploaded a third image that is even closer to one of the original images - and it retrieved a third, non-overlapping, set of images.

(6,823 posts)Trump wasn't at the 'ATTACK' ... so he wouldn't show up in any of the videos of the 'ATTACK' on the Capitol of the 1200 and counting videos included in this tool. Again doesn't matter what you 'heard' in the background of whatever you are referring to. Just so we are clear got it? Any other questions I'd be happy to answer for you. Again Peace.

(34,076 posts)It gives you a series of potential matches. When you click on them there are either still images or the video from which the potential matches were taken.
When I uploaded an image of Trump, at least one of the match options came from images of the crowd while he was speaking - because when I clicked on that image his speech was clearly audible in the background.
Tha obviously means that images in the potential image recognition pool includes not only from the attack on the capitol - but ALSO the rally ahead of the atttack. If the potential image recognitions did not include that period of time, Trump's speech would not have been part of the audio for the video from which the potential match was drawn. So - as I said - it is completely irrelevant that Trump did not join in the attack - since the image pool includes the rally ahead of the attack.
