The best way to "persuade" Republicans sitting on the trial of Donald J Trump?

Democrats should talk to their constituents, not to them.

Look straight into the camera when making a point, talking straight to the American people. In my opinion, this could be more effective than addressing Republicans directly or looking in their direction to respond, etc.

This may sound like a trivial matter but it is a basic communication skill.

Because it is not the Democrats that are going to put pressure on the Republicans, it is their voters. That is who the Democrats need to talk to.

Democrats can put pressure on every Republican that refuses to prosecute this heinous crime, if they can get their voters to realize the seriousness of the matter. The voters, in turn, will approve or disapprove of their Senator.

Also, Democrats need to understand that not every voter that voted for Trump is a hard-core Trump supporter. They can be persuaded to listen. It is very important that the trial not become a political drama show with the American people only spectators.

Talking to republicans is mute. They only listen to the sound of money flowing into their hands.

And understand that it is a political process. If Republicans cannot do the right thing for our country, they should pay a huge political price. They should be voted out.
