be protected by Manchin and Sinema. In theory we could get rid of the filibuster right now if all 50 senators voted to, but its not likely because of the aforementioned senators

still have the option if Manchin and Sinema could be persuaded at a later date. McConnell wanted it in writing which would have double fucked us. McConnell caving is a step in the right direction.

He didn't get his way. He's using Manchin and Sinema's current statements as cover. If he constantly uses and abuses the filibuster, the pressure will grow on Manchin and Sinema to get with the program.

Even Manchin. If the pressure grows strong enough, I can see it happening. At any rate, it's still on the table. McConnell didn't get what he wanted.
