election fairly. However, among republicans, only 25% of republicans think the election was fair, and 75% of republicans not only believe the election wasn't fair, but align themselves with trump, and want to be the party of trump.
The break down according to party identification in the country according to PEW research is the following:
34% identify as independents
33% identify as Democrats
29% identify republicans

From my perspective the republican today represents the greatest threat to Democracy

(92,242 posts)wing people. These are not what used to be viewed as conservative, but that go as far as including the David Dukes, oath keepers, proud boys in their ranks, along with belief in conspiracy beliefs that are pushed by their favorite outlets such as fox

(35,454 posts)These people are doing the same because it suits their narrative better and allows them to play 'war games'. There is, of course, a racist element to this and has been all along. They hate and then try to justify it so they won't be bad people.
