That’s when the mayor said he gave the man a final warning: “I informed him that I was carrying pepper spray and that I would use it if he did not back off,” Wheeler told police. When the man didn’t comply, Wheeler said, he pepper-sprayed him in the eyes. The man, who appeared surprised, according to Wheeler, finally backed off.

2. I carry pepperspray on my keychain and would have done the same--after warning, had someone

accosted me and refused to back off while maskless. Frankly, I've considered carrying a fitness telescoping aluminum walking stick with me to maintain distance when forced to enter a space where COVID precautions are not enforced. If that makes me combative, tough. This is life and death and I have patients to consider as well (HCW).

Tom Barrett (D-Milwaukee) who went toe-to-toe with a guy who assaulted a grandma at the State Fair back in 2010. Barrett was running against Scott Walker (R-eally Wimpy) for governor. Unfortunately for us, Barrett found that Koch money was the real thing.

When Cory Booker was Newark's mayor, he ran in and carried a man out of a burning building. The only mayor who tops that is Anton Cermak of Chicago, who took a bullet meant for FDR and died.

Have any of you ever had contact with pepper spray? I was given a little pump sprayer of the stuff, and gave it to my son, because he was the night manager of a hotel here that was in a crystal meth hot spot.

I decided to try it out, so I held my breath and squirted the tiniest amount I could into the sink, and away from me. I had to leave the house.

It will do a hell of a lot more than surprise you, believe me.
