(58,785 posts)She was so grateful for his calling her conviction after having pled guilty so unfair compared to Hillarys much larger crimes.
Her sentence was part of a plea deal or couldve been much longer, and she scheduled to be released next November. So even though she was hoping for one of Trumps pardons, shes doing OK.

(58,785 posts)or good intentions. And certainly not her honesty, good sense, and competence. That we believe we benefit from her behavior, if we do, doesnt necessarily mean she deserves a medal instead of prison.
Btw, a lot more people leak information than we are aware of, but most insiders leak it carefully and quietly competently to people who can put it to good use, and hopefully usually arent caught. Generally speaking, after the decades Ive seen these people show up, such as Julian Assange, I believe theres usually something wrong with the kind who screw up as badly as this one did. They need counseling before they hurt themselves and others.

(58,785 posts)For another, she did not Inform the public more than our intelligence services already were. We all knew Russia was helping both Trump and Sanders, the latter as a spoiler to help elect the former. We knew what we needed to know to do our part to foil this plotting. I never knew why she acted. Did she imagine more people would refuse to be useful idiots?
(And by the way, why did she accept Trumps statement that Hillary belonged in person?)
