Kellyanne Conway Posts Topless Photo of 16-Year Old Daughter

Kellyanne Conway, ex-counselor to disgraced former President Trump, allegedly posted a topless picture of her daughter Claudia, 16, on Twitter on Monday.

Reached for comment, a Twitter rep told Variety the company’s teams are investigating the incident. Kellyanne Conway could not be reached for comment.

According to screen captures posted by users on social media, Kellyanne Conway’s account (@KellyannePolls) shared an image of her topless teenage daughter using Twitter’s recently launched Fleets feature, which deletes posts after a 24-hour period (similar to Instagram and Snapchat’s stories). The Fleet was removed but not before Twitter users documented it.

On TikTok, Claudia Conway on Monday posted videos confirming that the picture was authentic; those have since been deleted from her TikTok account but Twitter users reposted copies of the videos. In the videos, a visibly upset Claudia Conway speculated that her mother may have accidentally posted the image. “I’m assuming my mom took a picture of it to use against me one day and then somebody hacked her or something,” she said. “I’m literally at a loss for words. If you see it, report it.”

The daughter in her first video said Kellyanne took up her phone (as a teen's mom is likely to do at times of conflict) and was searching through it. So (also as Claudia wondered) Kellyanne accidently uploading the photo to the social app seems entirely occam-plausible. Her social media and her archive photos is the first places a concerned/controlling parent would look.

I think the girl covering for her mom seems more likely to be a hopeful sign that the family can get beyond these fights. But they've got LONG LONG months or years of work ahead of them. I hope it works out.

the overwhelming power of the internet. The daughter clearly is using her 'power' via twitter to 'get even' (I wrote somewhere else on the thread that she is triangulating via twitter) with her mother.

This is too much power for this young woman. She needs to be reigned in (her phone contract cancelled, internet at the house turned OFF). It won't make everything better - but somehow these parents need to get a bit of control (yes, I know she'll go down the street to the coffee shop. But I'd sure make her walk to get online!).

My daughter would never do this to me. But when she was behaving badly a few years ago, she claimed I'd never turn OFF the internet. I sure did. I took the modem and router out of the house (hid it in the wheel well of the car, lol). I can live without the internet if I have to - especially if it will help my daughter.

I think Claudia is being horribly abused by her mother, and the internet is the only way she has of keeping contact with the outside world. I think that if Kellyanne wasn't rich, white, and politically connected, CPS would have long ago taken Claudia away and put Mommy Dearest in jail. I think if Claudia didn't have that outlet of the internet she very well might be dead by now. (By her own hand OR her mother's)

Circulating topless photos of an underage girl? That's possession and distribution of child pornography. She should also be on the sex offender register for life now. Yes, teenagers take nude pics of themselves - ill-advised, but it's a reality. When an ADULT takes those pictures and posts them for REVENGE PORN? Especially the child's own MOTHER? Ew ew ew ew ew ew ew.

I don't always take the parents' word for it, especially when there's so much horrific video documentation and well, KellyAnne Conway is who she is. There needs to be an intervention in this family, and KellyAnne needs to lose custody rights NOW.

Now, there are untold numbers of people looking for the photo and spreading it around. I won't be one of them.

Teenagers do stupid things, like taking nude photos of themselves with their phones, all the time. They're teenagers and don't always use good judgment. For a parent to broadcast such a thing is a symptom of some serious sort of disorder or unharnessed anger at the teenaged child. I can't imagine someone doing that, but I can believe that it happens.

What a stupid thing to do! She's not going to go to jail, of course, but she has, no doubt, alienated her daughter in a disgusting way. She will either regret her action or she will not, depending on whether she is in her right mind or not.

Oddly enough, the tendency of teenagers to take pictures of themselves like that is nothing new. When I was in high school back in the early 60s, my girlfriend and her best friend took topless photos of themselves with a Polaroid camera. Then, they gave the photos to their respective boyfriends. Of course, that was not the first time we had seen that, but...

Anyhow, I hid the photo in a book about electronics in my bookshelf, knowing that nobody but me would ever look there. Later, when my girlfriend broke up with me in an amicable way, I cut the picture up into tiny little pieces and threw it away, and told her that I had done that.

Some things never change, and teenagers doing stupid things is no exception.
