The Democrats should be positioned to say, "We got you that big stimulus check! We got you extended unemployment! We got you more time for student loan payments! We protected your house from foreclosure!"

To say, "We wanted to get you all that, but couldn't get GOP votes, so we dropped it," really won't win many votes.

He was clear yesterday that he expected feedback where there were points of disagreement and I assume he expects counter proposals. i trust that if the brick wall is hit, he will explain clearly and concisely why he felt reconciliation was the only way. And if he does, the Dems had better stick together.

Affordable Care Act.

They cannot be assumed to be working in good faith. We should get the best package we can passed for the American People and to hell with what the republicans say about it.

Judicial filibuster is kaput. Legislative filibuster remains. Budget Reconciliation is an altogether different process.

What we want or about our objectives. They ram through whatever they want without Dem input even.
