Doug Jones now employed by CNN.

He was working with Jake Tapper this afternoon. I was hoping Biden would place him in the Justice Dept somewhere.

as Garland already had an important job.

Jones though moderate has a strong civil rights record and has always stood for justice, and seems like he would've been more liberal than Garland would be.

He was the US Attorney that finally nailed the KKK goons who murdered those girls in the 1960s - the Birmingham, Alabama church bombing.
