1. High disapprovals now are just a holdover of the Trump cult...

Disapproval ratings now are historically higher than in many previous years, as the usual "honeymoon" period is not seeming to show this cycle. Repubs are not accepting that they lost anything, so their disapproval of Biden and other Dems is skewed by the whole Big Lie that the election was stolen. This is reflected in the polls.

So hearing that Biden (and other Dems) have disapproval ratings in the 30-40% range or even higher doesn't concern me a whole bunch right now. Truth is, though, is that they NEED to get things done or the Repubs will do well in 2022 and we can't have that. IIRC Warnock is up again in 2022. He absolutely needs to win again.
