I'm thinking that when the Dems. go for it on their own, SOME rethugs WILL join them!! Meaning we probably will NOT need the VP. to vote!

Repugs did not want to be on record voting NO on stimulus.

(32,017 posts)He wants to give the Republicans the opportunity to be decent and reasonable and to do what 74% of Americans agree needs to be done.
But, if they dont, he will ram the bill through using reconciliation on a 51-50 vote. He has been very resolute about this.
