Biden just fired all 10 of Trump’s appointees on the Federal Service Impasses Panel. Trump had stacked the panel with anti-labor activists who rewrote union contracts to undermine collective bargaining and strip protections from workers. Now all his holdovers are gone.

in the middle of many crises, it was imperative to hit the ground running and act in big ways.

And WE knew that with 50 years in government, 8 of them in the White house!, and several months of intensive planning with various teams for the day, he knew how to do what had been decided on.

Including knowing high-quality people to appoint to rebuild from the rubble of four years of chaos and destruction.

how and when to use them has always been Biden's strength as a candidate, nominee and now acting POTUS. It's what experience brings to the challenge.

So, no I'm not surprised by these actions nor Biden's desire to GO BIG in his policy thinking. He knows the extent of the Covid and economic crises. He lived through the shenanigans of the Republicans when President Obama was in office, and he understands how legislation can be thwarted or pushed into being.

It's early in the game but so far? Joe Biden is definitely living up to my expectations. He was made for this moment. And thank God he was willing to put an easy retirement on hold and throw himself back into the arena. For the country's sake.

In this case, he's thoroughly cleaning house. Dust Bunnies Beware!
