I look forward to a future where I am condemned and reviled.
I will probably not see it, but if and when that happens, hopefully it means that mankind has advanced to the point where sins that I do not see, cannot see, are obvious and avoided.
I like the think that the future will have better people than you and I were. We try, but we know so little and have lived in an age were Fox news is considered news by a large portion of the populace. I wonder how blind I am. How blind we are as we fight for the rights of others in a world where enough people confuse what censorship is with arguments that a rational thinking person would reject in a moment.
My hope is, that some day the sins of this day are lain bare for all to see and avoid. Bless the souls that look back with shame at us. They are the only hope for humanity.
