Who were trying to break into the Senate when that woman was shot and killed right in front of them did not react.
They seemed to briefly pause in their focus on smashing in the doors, but no one reacted with shock and horror that a human being was just killed. No one fled to safety, no one tried to avoid being out in front and only a few feet away from armed agents who were fully prepared to shoot them too.
It was like they were living in an alternate realty or playing a video game where no one really gets hurt or killed. They were willing to risk their lives to serve Trump, but that doesn't bring them any reward. They were like mindless automatons who clearly never thought about the consequences for what They were doing.
How does anyone become so cynical that they don't even have a shred of self preservation in the face of such dire circumstances?
