He didnt do it.
Theres been a lot of, He had the right to say what he said, and, This whole trial is bogus, and of course, The prosecution are a bunch of meanies, but no actual denial (so far) that Trump is guilty as hell.

(27,840 posts)The way that Castor said he worked at the Capitol 40 years ago and always got lost, and that today he still got lost....which to me is an admission that someone clearly had given some kind of map to the insurgents. By Trump's lawyer!!

(402 posts)I'm obsessing over the thing the second Defense lawyer is doing with his right hand every time he takes a drink of water. He takes a drink with his left hand and his right-hand goes to the top of his head...every time! It's like he's worried his head is going to fall off if he doesn't hold it on when he tips his back. What IS that!! I know trivial of me, isn't it!

(6,448 posts)One thing I did hear was the attorney say something right out of Comedy Writing 101.
Right after he slowly spun around and commented what a diverse group it was in attendance, he listed 2 things everyone had in common.
The two things he listed were prefaced with 1) and B). This is a comedy device used to illustrate what a disorganized brain might utter. It is very "Gilliganesque", and came out of the mouth of a man who has a very important duty (althoughwe already know the outcome) Only a moron like Trump, who knows the best people, would hire a fool like this guy.

Trump didn't mean it, but he is old and senile, used the wrong words, and people misunderstood him!
Can't we just forgive and forget, play nice, and let bygones be bygones?
It was just a little coup attempt, and it didn't work, so stop making a fuss already!
Not much of a defense, really.

Are they gonna keep their nose up trumps ass or are they gonna unhook it and breathe some fresh air.

every way. They are thoroughly corrupt, and shamelessly dishonest. They have no honor, and no integrity, whatsoever. They are fascists who hate democracy.
It is from this understanding that we need to proceed, in a massive force united against Republican fascism, and send the Republican party into the bottom of the dustbin of history, alongside all the other failed fascist movements that came before.
Next time there is a Presidential Election, it won't be 80,000,000 Dem voters, it will be 100,000,000 or more.
