There were a lot of secular Jews in the audience and they were chuckling at a lot of the Orthodox rituals. I later read the depiction was somewhat over the top, especially when it came to sex. I go back and forth. I was in a delicatessen about fifteen years ago and this man in Orthodox garb came in and questioned them about their practices. I assume he was trying to find out if they were really kosher. When I left I was thinking about the fact that even though our appearances were dramatically different there's a bond between us that goes back 6,000 years.

I just think God is not obsessed with mismatched fabrics and covering your head and praying every time you take a drink.
