The way that Trump emphasized the word Capitol on Jan 6

It always struck me as odd the way 45 yelled out the word Capitol in his 1/6 speech. After hearing it again yesterday, as part of the video presentation, I thought it might be a key word that he and his co-conspirators had agreed upon as his go-ahead word to start the insurrection.

What do you think? Here is a link to the video in case you need it. https://www.democraticunderground.com/1017639775 go to 0:24 to hear the part that I'm talking about.

3. It really stood out, didn't it?

Very creepy. I thought maybe it was more of a psychiatric symptom of desperation or a nervous breakdown, but your explanation is very plausible.

4. Capital

The way he said the word, Capital, reminded me of Jerry Lewis in "The Nutty Professor" when he was changing back into a geeky weak man and his voice was breaking.

It seems that you were correcting my spelling by putting it in your header but my spelling is correct when applied to the U.S. Capitol building. That is where 45 wanted the insurrectionists to go.

5. We'll never know for sure what went on in that Jan 5th meeting

But it's hardly a secret code word. They knew from the git-to that the Capitol is where the EC vote count was going on and so that was the literal destination he was calling for them to march on.

Hell, that's why a LOT of the raid leaders were marching in that direction before Trump even finished his speech. They were leading the skirmishers in the direction they'd planned on from long before any speech or secret meeting took place.

7. "Walk down Pennsylvania Avenue"

And we fight. We fight like hell. And if you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore.

Our exciting adventures and boldest endeavors have not yet begun. My fellow Americans, for our movement, for our children, and for our beloved country.

And I say this despite all that’s happened. The best is yet to come.

So we’re going to, we’re going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue. I love Pennsylvania Avenue. And we’re going to the Capitol, and we’re going to try and give — the Democrats are hopeless, they never vote for anything. Not even one vote. But we’re going to try and give our Republicans, the weak ones because the strong ones don’t need any of our help. We’re going to try and give them the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country.

So let’s walk down Pennsylvania Avenue.

8. I also thought his voice sounded strange on that part where he says

"If you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore." His voice kind of drops on "you won't have a country." It didn't sound like his usual showmanship, but like he really felt he was at the end of his rope.

He just sounded strange on that day, but "Capitol" was spooky as hell.

9. Think about if this were any other rally

You have a rally, tell people they have to fight, now is the time to fight. Then you send them to a building to fight and they kill people there. If this were any other speaker, they'd be in jail. He sent this mob to the Capitol to do exactly what they did.

10. Trump does not emphasize words in sentences the way most Americans do.

This has been his public speaking MO since I started listening to him speak. It is awful. He probably began doing this while talking to one or another of his foreign born spouses.
