Tom Cotton had staffers fetch his gun from his office during the insurrection

Republican Tom Cotton believed the situation at the Capitol was so dangerous on Jan. 6 that he asked one of his staffers to bring his gun to the undisclosed location where senators were being hidden from rioters, and that he was prepared to use it.

It’s legal to have a gun in your office

Now he’s all bored listening to Dems replay that day

Like any one cop couldn’t shoot, and they are trained to shoot in the torso. Problem is a mob, thousands and thousands keep pushing up. It would be good if he got scared, might have learned from the moment, but guess not.

Nevertheless, it was chicken-shit for him to send a staffer out into the melee to fetch his gun.

Maybe he should have used the gun on one of the killers of Officer Sicknick. But no... he probably just paraded around like his fly was open.
