4. It was a minor point. One of the presenters told the story of Lee getting a phone call

from Trump during the insurrection which was intended for Tuberville.

Lee hands the phone to Tuberville who is asked by the president to stop the EC certification.
The point is that instead of trying to stop the mob from murdering the congress, Trump was still focused on stopping the EC certification.

Lee stands up at the end and says the phone call story is all lies. None of it is true, etc.

There were witnesses so Lee is just bluffing.

Basically the presentation was so powerful and damning that the GOP senators were melting down and having a hissy fit. Trying to throw a monkey wrench into the works.

The Dem managers put a lid on Lee who withdrew his complaint.
Some say he didn't want to go under oath and blabber his nonsense.
But we shall see what Lee pulls out of his hat tomorrow.
