we’d have to get rid of the filibuster first. I’m hoping after the Republicans show that they’re not interested in working with Biden that Manchin and Sinema will get on board with getting rid of it.

that only through the reconciliation process can something be achieved by simple majority. Can we grant DC statehood through reconciliation? I’m honestly not sure, I’m not very educated on Senate procedures.
