QAnon believers are embracing a new conspiracy that the coronavirus vaccine “increases the probability of them identifying as homosexual or transgender at a later stage.”

QAnon is a complex conspiracy theory that says that there is an international Satanic pedophile ring involving Hillary Clinton and Tom Hanks that Donald Trump was secretly working to take down. Many of the insurrectionists who attacked the Capitol during the MAGA rally believe in the outlandish conspiracy.

Reporter Shayan Sardarizadeh tweeted a series of screenshots from Telegram, a far-right social media platform, that appear to show the gullible Trump supporters promoting the unhinged claim.

One screenshot contains a list of questions posted by one user that gets increasingly stupid as it continues.

that scare conservatives and then issue tweets claiming the vaccine causes any one of those, or any combination of them. Or claim that Democrats are in favor of them. It's just a game. A dangerous, destructive game, but a stupid game nevertheless. Why amplify each crazy new notion that comes along?
