So, seriously, why are they so afraid?

That is the question we need to ask. There has to be a reason they all do whatever he wants. He’s such a gross human being. Why would they do anything to protect him. It’s sick. That’s why I think Russia has spent years grooming folks and also building files. Then, Putin gives Donald the power to say, “guess what, we have video or we won’t give money or we’ll give you lots of money” to do what we want. No one acts this way unless there’s a really good reason that’s probably embedded with fear. It’s so frustrating and no one wants to go there.

Trump is a Repuke, I am a Repuke, I will never join the evil baby-killing Soshlyst Dems in attacking a fellow Repuke.

End of discussion.

It's almost entirely about partisanship and saving their jobs. It's not even really about Trump. It's pure self-preservation.

Guess there’s kompromat on a bunch of them. A bunch. It’s too blind crazy for it to be otherwise.

Pick and choose:

We are socialist communists who want to raise taxes and strangle wealth.
We are nazi antifas who want to burn down small businesses and abolish police.
We want to murder unborn babies.
We will persecute them for loving Jesus.
We want to take their guns so they can't protect themselves from the Blacks and Browns.

Do their Pols believe all that? Probably not, but they believe some of it.

the fact that they are totally on board, and totally embrace, Trump's goals and methods.

Being afraid is more tolerable amongst people who disagree with you than simply being corrupt or being evil. It's just a path-of-least-resistance excuse for the decisions they have made for other, worse, reasons.

11 million more people voted for the Con in 2020 than in 2016. This, in spite of 4 years of seeing what an inhumane POS he is. The GOP can't win without his base.

... of the crazies. Remember what you heard on the videos of January 6: they’re out to get the “RINOS.” And they mean it. I’m sure some of them have gotten death threats, if they even think of voting for conviction. Cowards.

There's fear involved. Now there are a few alphas that promulgate this fear. And, they are motivated by other means. Money? Power? Russia? Death threats? But, my guess is it's multi-tiered. Many have been groomed. Others get into the web and can't figure out how to get out. Think John Grisham. Seriously, I think it's life imitating art. I warned my husband 4 years ago and he didn't believe me. Now, he's saying, "you were right.". We've got a big problem and it's worse than just republicans toeing the line. Trump wanted them to assassinate Pence. This is more than just obeying the party. There are other people involved and other things at work here.
