How far is team rump prepared to go, now that witnesses will be called?

Lawyerin’ costs money - big bucks - so how enthusiastic can these attorneys be about staying on for an indeterminate duration, given rump’s past history of stiffing those he hires? The end result of this trial is unlikely to change, but by god the public will hear the truth from witnesses under oath. RepuQs must pay a price for their mendacity and fecklessness.

without getting payment up front. And waiting to start work until after that payment has cleared in a non-refundable way.

His instincts drive him to create a bigger mess to exact revenge.
Republicans may begin to see the risk of clinging to this bullshit.

The hundreds of millions the sheep gave him to "stop the steal can be applied to legal fees.

that's why he has these bad lawyers working for him. For now, anyway. Maybe we'll see even worse ones after these fellows quit.

But even if it wasn’t, I’m good with it taking as long as it takes to save our democracy.

Not our problem if the lawyers who chose to defend a snake get stiffed.

QUESTION:

Are taxpayers on the hook for former President Donald Trump's legal fees in the upcoming impeachment trial?

ANSWER:

No.

The Verify team spoke with a trio of legal and legislative experts who said that the president was responsible for paying for his legal fees, just as he was in the first impeachment trial.
