If Obama is really "the lazy negro President" that the right claims he is

and let's face it, they need to own their fucking racism, because you can't have it both ways -

1) either you're calling him "a lazy negro" and you're racist / or let's stop with the lazy nonsense

2) either you're calling him our first affirmative action President and you're a racist / or he's gained this office as fairly or as unfairly as your average president has

(and I can't stress the importance of holding them to these two dichotomies) -

but back to the subject line, if Obama is really lazy as the right and the racists, or should I say the racists, would like to believe he is

WELL HOW THE FUCK HAS HE AGED TEN YEARS IN THREE AND A HALF YEARS?

Riddle me that one.

I need a good debate performance from Biden. I pretty much need one from Obama after that. So there will be no "sore loser" bullshit escape hatch.

I get those two things and I am going to unload on some people I know who are trying to advance this sort of bullshit. This is not the only "drown in your own ridiculousness" line of inquiry that I'm sitting on.

I also apologize in advance if anyone is offended by my citation of these two anti-Obama myths, but we need to deal in the reality that this is the narrative the anti-Obama crowd is trying to pin on the President.

excuse me for saying but if Bill Clinton had been black, they would not have focused on
what Monica gave him, but the fact that it was wasting 5 minutes of taxpayer time each time.

Who was the genius anyhow that set the debate date on their anniversary in the first place?
Last thing a spouse needs is to not be there for dinner on that date or share your spouse with 60 million people.
Where would you rather be on your 20th anniversary.
Wouldn't surprise me if Obama was thinking of that, I know I would.

All this from the party where Bush hid all summer of Katrina in Crawford and did nothing at all
but hide from Cindy Sheehan.
Where he had an ear piece in one debate (and Mitt appears to have note foisted on the table in front of him illegally.)
They should have some more cameras behind the candidates to stop cheating as Mitt did.

BTW, always thought that racist stereotype was such bullshit. Blacks are the hardest working people I have known my entire life. While the south went to war to keep their slaves, who the hell do you think built America and won it for the north? Certainly wasn't the slaveowners working to put in the transcontinental railroad was it?
And they use the same stereotype about our friends from Mexico and other places, who come here, sweat and labor in the hot hot sun all day, get paid so little, then do it again 7 days a week.

If someone tells you otherwise, tell them they are wrong and tell them to look in the mirror
It's easy to sit in a recliner in a mansion in the south with a whip in hand you hand to one of your associates to go out and whip someone to work, while you sip tea in mansions like in Gone With the Wind.

(which is a far, far truer stereotype than this lazy bullshit meme.)

Can you imagine what the rightwing republicantealibertarians would say if FDR were running today? What with his handicap and all. How many votes would he have gotten today? Would he still have had a chance? I would like to think so, but I can imagine what the republicantealibertarians would say.

this post is IMHO and if there is something in this post objectionable, let's debate it or if something out of line, I will self-edit if needed.

Thank you and peace.

bullshit?

His record should be enough. The implications around what they're advancing are enough in and of themselves are enough.

In the spirit of the copious amounts of advice served to the President from these boards each and every day, just call them out on their racism and self-contradiction.

when it comes to FB.

Stripped of the context that I'm pissed about how a debate went, or that I'm being a sore loser, it becomes a hammer.

As soon as the media narrative isn't "Democrats in disarray!!!" which I expect to change very shortly, I get to open up with twin barrels of some stuff that's going to make some people feel awful uncomfortable.

What's really distressing is that I think the most educated people who have allowed themselves to embrace these right wing narratives don't even realize the underlying racism that is an inescapable part of the BS they have now been conditioned to push.

I'm very excited to light them up and to turn a mirror on some shit they really need to think on for a bit.

Because all of them will be horrified to discover they've gone racist.

Romney supporters have this notion that he's a "successful businessman" when all he has EVER been is a slimy equivalent of a used car salesman. The kind of guy who sees the newlyweds on the lot and cons them into buying the worse lemon he has for nearly the price of a new car. He'll even help them put the car seat in for the newborn and wave and smile as they leave with bad brakes and bald tires.

6. I don't think you understand how this meme runs up and down the educational spectrum
Thu Oct 11, 2012, 01:13 PM
Oct 2012

this is believed by both the least educated and the *most* educated and frankly, smart and able anti-Obama folks.

Sadly enough, this has been effectively drilled into their heads, repeatedly, by the "hates-Obama" dedicated side of the dual reality universe of our two medias.

You would not believe the kind of people I have heard this stuff from - I wouldn't want to, but I've heard it with my own two ears.

I think my point shows it to be demonstrably false, with the most easily available evidence possible!

I was looking at the President last night when the thought struck me - you can't age that much, that fast unless you're doing a heck of a lot more than having a golf vacation interrupted infrequently by a Presidency (see W).

I think it's a pretty salient point.

And there's something else that's been bothering me. About the debate. That lazy meme has been all over it.

And it's fucking bullshit. Romney looked like a psycho and Obama looked normal. In comparison everybody says he looked "lazy."

This meme of theirs cannot stand when examined in the cold light of contrary evidence.

Yeah, it's total bullshit.

I'll have a post later today on what I figured out about Romney's presentation. I've cracked a bit of that guy's verbal tick code.
