Not that they don't have problems, and questionable behavior by some of their founders and principals. Going with the premise: the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

They've gone after a lot of dangerous people. Rethugs are good at smear campaigns, not just LP folks but the folks LP has gone after.

I think they did help to sway some rethugs to vote for Biden. I'm sorry they are getting bad press, and having some issues related to some of their founders. I hope they continue with their project, attacking cult 45 members and sycophants.

17. It is an escape hatch to give independants and center right Republicans somewhere

to go and believe instead of going to Democrats. I would not hold against them if I did not think they would split Democrats too and be a third party if it comes to that. They have already split Democrats as this thread demonstrates. It is a potential wedge and emotional connections they have made so far, emotional connections both for and against. Not an actual wedge.
