Most people are still sleep walking through this. Watching what is going on in Texas is scary and infuriating.

It doesn’t refer to who we think of as “liberals”. Most neo-liberals are Republicans although the DLC within the Democratic Party had a few neo-liberals back twenty, thirty years ago.

Watching factories shut down, family farms Foreclosed and sold to agri-Business, budgets for education, social services, and infrastructure slashed by crooks and fools bleating about the “Free Market” tooth-fairy, we are indeed sliding into Third World status.

Some parts are either already there (Or never left it): the Deep South, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, and parts of Texas. Other states are heading there: Ohio and much of Michigan.

And the suckers lapping up that right-wing horse-muck meme and also railing about brown people from abroad are too busy pinching their white skins are too clueless to look around them to look for the similarities between their surroundings and many of the places (particularly Central America and South America’ Caribbean coast) those brown people left.

English: Dumb-A$$es!

Spanish: Idiotas!
