MENSA member Rick Perry weighs in on Texas situation

WASHINGTON - Former Texas governor Rick Perry suggests that going days without power is a sacrifice Texans should be willing to make if it means keeping federal regulators out of the state’s power grid.

In a blog posted on House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy's website, Perry is quoted responding to the claim that “those watching on the left may see the situation in Texas as an opportunity to expand their top-down, radical proposals.” .............(more)

The GOP does not care what happens to the people, they just need to score points against their enemy the Dems.

Sure enough, the response from the clown who once told people to come to Texas because the lack of regulation meant big profits (and only the occasional massive silo explosion) was the shittiest, most hypocritical take imaginable.

Speaking of washed-up has-beens: Does anyone if Skinny Hercules is referring to a specific policy of Joe's here, or just talking out of his ass? I'm betting it's the latter but want to be sure. (I know the first sentence is a full-blown lie.)

I have a feeling this story will have looooooong legs.

Democrats are constantly evaluating and refining thoughts and positions. That's the biggest difference between liberals and conservatives.

Liberals constantly look for better ideas. Republicans are against new ideas.
