to see trump lose the presidency and the republicans lose the Senate.
Other than that, I don't care about him. I won't miss him.

(15,809 posts)Tomorrow could be one of our own. Lifes too short and it pisses me off when republicans dance on graves. Ill never do that. I will say that he had a horrible death. Lung cancer is not a walk in the park. Thats it from me.

(5,734 posts)my Dad was a good man, decorated WWII hero and one of The Greatest Generation. A good and loving husband and father, who did anything and everything he could to help family, friends, and neighbors and loved everyone. He held no grudges, spoke no harm.
That being said, I believe that judgment belongs to God. I guess that what I am feeling is actually more a type of relief, that there is one less cruel and lying person in the world, who did not care what harm he did to others.

(15,809 posts)Your dad is awesome. Our country was lucky to have him as was your family.

(21,481 posts)person who does not celebrate someone's death, I do feel better when a source of such hatred and misery in the world is gone. And that is something worth celebrating, whether the source is an inanimate object or a person.
I will feel the same relief when the pandemic is over.

(30,613 posts)...is that Limbaugh had malice.

(21,481 posts)It is simply a fact that the world IS a better place without his hate mongering.

(33,523 posts)It was brought on by smoking.
I was largely disinterested in what this fat slob had to say, but I did hear through osmosis he used to laugh about tobacco and cancer while chewing on his cigar.
As horrible as death by tobacco is, choking to death on one's own leaking blood, I can't say I'm inclined to feel much sympathy.
This is a case of dying by the sword by which he lived.
I for one am happy he has left this world to which he he brought such a pernicious influence.

(10,202 posts)or else we'd have been subjected to El Rushbo lying in state in the Rotunda.
No pity here - that MF was the gateway drug to Q, and he did more to erode and destroy civility in this country than any contemporary.
