are running up in their legal fees. From basic costs for one or two indictments all the way up to for 14 or so. This has to get rather expensive I would think.

Makes sense in the right wing world I guess. If they have assets, like some do, can they still use public defenders?

There are lawyers on here that could answer your question.
But I do find it ironic if any of them use one. Not because I wouldn't use one if I had to. But because they are all about personal responsibility, handouts, etc, etc.
