Contractor hit a gas line in font of our house. Not sure when we will return.

UPDATE: Before we got out the door, we got the all clear to stay. The gas company is working on it. I had already killed the fireplace. (what a mess) We were packed and getting ready to put the leashes on the dogs to leave. We wouldn't leave them behind.
811 marked all the utilities. So we think it falls on the contractor. We have a couple things to do. I'll be back later.

Did you get vouchers for a hotel? The city should compensate you for this, I think.
Hopefully the repairs will be quick.
