In the 90's I lived in Florida where Limpbag was on the radio 24/7 in places of business.

Almost ever RE office, mechanics wait room, hair places, insurance offices, literally everywhere that had a radio.

Once spent an afternoon (was waiting to go see a movie or play tennis, I forget) in an office with the dad of friend. We were the only ones there.

He knew I was a Lefty and I knew he was a Clinton hating conservative.

The issue got to his VA healthcare and I said something to the effect of it would be nice if everyone had access to healthcare without going broke. It would make people healthier and happier more productive and result in less ER visits. He oddly agreed.

Then I got a weird idea and said to him they weed may help his glaucoma and other ailments (Vietnam vet. Lots of aches and pains) and was kind of fun too and if alcohol and nicotine were legal why shouldn't pot be legal? He drank and smoked so had to think about it. He then said that he agreed and had thought about for years but nobody ever asked him his opinion.

We ended the day with universal healthcare and legalized weed.

But Rush and Fox kept at it and he never changed his voting.

Radio and TV and now the web is POWERFUL. It takes somewhat reasonable people and makes them literally vote against things they believe in.

I am personally glad that one voice of mind melting evil is gone. He can rot in hell.

I should add that he was probably influenced on the anti gay and overt racism Rush ideas, so who knows...

to troops in bases throughout the world and aboard US Navy ships, the network’s self-described mission is to provide “a touch of home” for service members overseas." And we wonder why so many service men are "Oath Keepers." The country is better off with out that "person".

Never heard of stations broadcasting it around the clock like that.

There was 15 hours of material every week. Did they just keep replaying it over and over again the other 153 hours a week?
