That would be great

I actually think he would be an even better Governor than a Senator (and he would have been great at that too)

Obviously, it's completely natural to have a lot of empathy and trepidation over the catastrophe in Texas. But the story of that man in Killeen, and that of Laelth and others hits home far harder, at least for me.

I think Stalin summed it up with: "One death is a tragedy. A million deaths is a statistic."

I hope it's not so stark and bleak as that, but it does contain a large measure of truth.

Could this event possibly be the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back? Will republican voters finally realize that their elected republican officials Do Not Care?! All elected republicans care about is being in power, making sure their benefactors grab more profits and their subsequent kickbacks.

Millions of people need to finally realize that republicans simply Do Not Fucking Care!

Too many selfish bastards.

Surely, there are more of us than them. This recent presidential election proved that, but I see too many selfish Republican senators got reelected.

While Democrats roll up their sleeves and help people desperately in need.

The contrast between Beto and Cruz could not be more stark.

This is saving lives.

Also, this is what grassroots politics looks like. Reach out to real people, ask them what they need.
