I'm a native Floridian and hate what my state has become since Jeb Bush got into office and the RepuQs took over the legislature. The Florida Democratic Party just rolled over and gave up after that. Their campaigns against Rick Scott never once mentioned his Medicare fraud - they just will no use opposition research against their opponents but the RepuQs have no problem with that.

We should have has Gwen Graham as governor - instead the Florida Dems selected the flawed Andrew Gillum. Part of the problem was that Graham's district had been gerrymandered so she had no chance of being re-elected as Representative and was out of the public eye for too long. I'm hoping Graham will run again but I have my doubts about how well the Florida Democratic Party will support her or run a strong campaign for any candidate.

Which is predominately Fort Myers. And you guessed it, The old people LOVE him! All these older people are from somewhere else and don't care about our environment, water quality or schools. All they care about are low taxes and warm weather. They all vote republican. Of course there are exceptions ( I am one ) but I would say he would get 70% of the votes here

..... which seems so much saner politically than the state as a whole. Also, SE Florida is much more cosmopolitan than the other regions of the state.
