"Californians are already experiencing the devastation of the climate crisis, including record wildfires and deteriorating air quality. I'm humbled and excited to chair the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee to hold polluters accountable, safeguard all of our communities, and help spearhead solutions to the climate crisis."

In addition to chairing the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee, Congresswoman Porter will also serve on the Energy and Mineral Resources Subcommittee and the Public Lands and National Parks Subcommittee.

These subcommittees, along with a bunch of others, are part of our addressing of the many facets of the climate crisis.
