For all the suffering and chaos Trump has caused, he did serve a purpose by unwittingly exposing so many republicans for who they really are. Our democracy had to be taken to the brink in order to reveal the true nature of so many cowardly, fake patriots. Many of them apparently even indebted to a foreign adversary, all while waving the flag and paying lip service to our troops.
