(3,023 posts)I hope so. Will be interesting to see who gets punished out of this, politically or otherwise. Abbott is pointing fingers in every direction like his and others poor political leadership could not have had anything to do with it.

(22,133 posts)them. I heard that State Farm (the insurance company) has already had very high volumes of insurance claims from its customers, I hope that State Farm treats them right. I used to have State Farm, until (1) their rates are twice what I pay now (another comparable national chain) (2) my claim was roughly 1/2 of what it should have been, e.g., my Mom and Dad had a water leak in their basement, that destroyed their carpet (and other things), they rec'd an amazing settlement amount...I didn't for my claim (water damage too in basement).
