Bear spray can leave lasting burns. I used to do public outreach and ed with that stuff and have been burned by it on my hands. It's nasty, sores can last a long time and be painful. Would really suck to have them on your face. Ouch!

I worked in management in several corporations, and had anyone brought a phone to a major managers’ meeting and sat there reading from it, that person would have been told to put it away and pay attention. Republican Senators like Cruz act like spoiled children who have no responsibilities at all. Let’s see some Senate rules where Senators who do not do their work, like listening to the hearings we pay them to hold and attend, have hefty fines deducted from their pay.
