I mailed a cute Valentine's Day card to one of my youngest nephews (they live about 10 miles away). I mailed it on February 6th using the "inside" mail collection slot that is located within my local post office's little lobby (not even mailed in an outside collection box - I avoid those like the plague). Any other time, even with it mailed on a Saturday, it would have been delivered by Tuesday (February 9th, and maybe the 10th at the latest, if there were weather issues).

My nephew got the card yesterday on February 22nd.

who were really following what was going on and making lists and checking them twice, and then prioritizing what to do first.

Because of all the delays with the GSA idiot refusing to transition them and then the insurrection, and impeachment, they probably still had a little pile of things that were incomplete with only a bare framework/draft to use as a start, until they were able to finally get in there and pull teeth to get the details of what was going on. But for the rest of the stuff (particularly the published Executive Orders) - they had time to get all the reversal paperwork in order and could have him sign piles of those daily, and then work their way through the harder stuff.
