It appears Officer Brian Sicknick is now getting the Seth Rich treatment.
As I have come across posts on social media, amplified by the likes of Candance Owens and other right wing personalities, claiming that Officer Sicknick did not die as the result of any head injuries suffered during the January 6th Trumpist insurrection at the Capitol, but rather from a stroke he suffered the next day.
Obviously, this is asinine bullshit, but just to indulge this nonsense for just a second:
1. A 42 year old, physically fit Capitol police officer just so happens to suffer a stroke out the the blue the day after Trumpists storm the Capitol?
2. That one needs to suffer a completely debilitating mass trauma wound to the head to die from a head injury? (Hint: Google "Natasha Richardson" if you think that's the case.)
3. If Officer Sicknick's death was falsely labeled as being attributed to the January 6th riots in order to paint Trumpists in a bad light, what does that say for all the video footage of hundreds of other Trumpists physically assaulting other police officers at the Capitol that day? This wasn't exactly an isolated incident.
4. Wait, weren't you guys claiming that Antifa was responsible for all of this? I'm confused.
Bottom line is that these cretins are shameless and will continue to be shameless and insult and exploit deceased people and their families in order to maintain their lies.
